Bilingual Paralegal Position
Bishop Legal is seeking a bilingual personal injury paralegal. Paralegals assist our firm's attorneys with all phases of a personal injury claim.

- Perform new client intakes in the office and in the field
- Initiate insurance claims with first and third party insurers
- Open and maintain client files;
- collecting evidence to support a claim, such as police reports, scene photographs, property damage estimates, medical records, and witness statements
- drafting claim summary and settlement proposal letters
- Work with attorneys to organize materials for arbitration and trial; and frequent client contact in Spanish and English to collect information and provide case status.
- Provide phone support when needed.
- Maintain high level of customer service when speaking with clients.

- 2+ years of experience in the plaintiff personal injury field. We would consider training an entry-level candidate with a related bachelor’s degree who is fluent in Spanish, proficient with MO Suite of programs, and has excellent writing and problem-solving skills.

Front Desk/Legal Assistant

- Answering telephone calls, (requires understanding of telephone and voice mail system)
- Instructions on how to answer an inbound call, put call on hold, transfer to voicemail and record your voicemail system.
- Maintain a high level of excellent customer service for people walking into the office and also while being on phones.
- Mail – Stamp any outgoing mail in the morning prior to mailman’s arrival, stamp any incoming mail, UPS/FedEx deliveries. After mail has been stamped and sorted, it will require to be handed out to every staff member who received mail.
- Run the dishwasher before end of the day (5:30pm), and empty it every morning, prior to 9am.
- Check daily that all bathrooms have enough toilet paper/towels.
- Keep the front office clean along with conference room and any other items that require clean up throughout the office.
- Office Supplies- perform a periodic office inventory on office supplies. Make sure that all printer supplies/toners are in stock in order to keep printers running smoothly. Also making sure the office has daily coffee and filtered water available.
- Errands: make any necessary errands such as going to the bank, post office, staples, stores, meeting clients to pick/drop off documents etc.
- Handle incoming faxes via RingCentral and forward to assign paralegal/attorney.
- Assist with necessary projects from attorneys, paralegals, and management.
- Example projects: make copies, closing files, cover for client meetings, interpreting, records request, filing etc.
- Help with Miscellaneous attorney or paralegal requests.
- Help close client files.
- Printer’s maintenance & troubleshooting. This part of the job requires dealing with vendors who perform routine maintenance.

Tech Administrator/Marketing Manager
This position requires oversight and handling of the firm’s IT and marketing tasks. This person will be working with all employees in the firm and the remote IT Manager.

- Provide administrative and level 1 technical support to all staff.
- Install, upgrade, and manage software and hardware in the firm. When necessary, coordinate with remote IT Manager.
- Level 1 of installation for new staff workstations and workstation moves. Provide training on how to use all hardware.
- Troubleshoot computer issues reported by staff and perform any necessary level 1 fixes/upgrades as needed.
- Troubleshoot, program, and manage firm’s case management software cloud system; internet; and VOIP phone system.
- Assist staff with remote login issues.
- Install and implement computer accessories such as monitors, printers, and web-cams.
- Provide training to staff of new tech implementations.
- Obtain best prices from vendors for services and equipment.
- Handle other general office management and staff duties.

- Oversee the development and maintenance of potential referral relationships.
- Manage and execute print and online advertising purchases.
- Develop and maintain Level 1 website upgrades.
- Develop, track, and analyze ongoing and new marketing campaigns.
- Monitor and maintain social media accounts and direct content assistants.
- Monitor and maintain Google presence using Google AdWords campaigns, organic search rankings and other methods.
- Prepare monthly reports outlining and analyzing marketing results.
- Review and respond to online client ratings.

- Applicants with proven IT background and online and print marketing experience are given preference.
- Competent expertise of MS Office products; level 1 networking; and computer and accessories trouble-shooting skills are required.
- IT certifications are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Spanish fluency is a plus.
